Hello! I’m Giovanna Smith—certified Matchmaker, Relationship Coach, Life Coach and founder of Perfect Fusions Matchmaking Agency. Matchmaking and relationship coaching are deeply personal experiences, and I believe it’s essential for you to feel safe, supported, and truly heard throughout your journey to find a meaningful connection or life partner.
At Perfect Fusions Matchmaking Agency, I bring a wealth of expertise and a strong commitment to professionalism. As a certified Matchmaker through The Matchmaking Academy, which is approved by the Association of British Introduction Agencies (ABIA), I adhere to the rigorous standards set by the ABIA Code of Practice. This ensures that every client—whether single, divorced, or widowed—receives the highest level of service, ethical practices, and transparency.
Alongside my certification in matchmaking, I am a certified Professional Relationship Coach with The International Association of Professions Career College (IAPO), and I hold an Advanced Diploma in Life Coaching & Mentoring from the Academy for Health & Fitness. My diverse qualifications allow me to approach matchmaking not just as an introduction service, but as a comprehensive relationship support journey. With a deep understanding of human connection and relationship dynamics, I am able to guide clients through the process with personalized coaching that fosters confidence, growth, and lasting love.

The best relationship guides are those who draw from life’s rich tapestry of experiences. My journey has had its share of highs and lows—especially in relationships, marriage, and raising a family—and these experiences have shaped who I am today.
I am a proud mother of five incredible children and grandmother to three wonderful grandchildren. Being raised in a culturally rich and multi-faith family has given me a profound appreciation for diversity and the beauty of human connection. These life experiences, combined with my professional expertise, enable me to create a matchmaking experience that is heartfelt, authentic, and deeply personalised.
In addition to my deep understanding of relationships, I place great importance on ensuring that all clients feel secure and confident throughout the matchmaking process. To uphold the highest standards of safety and trust, I conduct thorough due diligence checks. This includes requiring clients to provide valid DBS checks and photographic ID, ensuring their background is properly vetted. For our international clients, comprehensive background checks are conducted with their consent, as part of our process. This attention to detail allows us to create connections that are not only meaningful but also built on trust and transparency.
How Did I Get Here?
Before I became a matchmaker and relationship coach, I dedicated over 14 years to social work, supporting children, families, and professionals through complex challenges. During that time, I honed skills in empathy, active listening, communication and relationship-building—skills amongst others, that now serve as the foundation of my matchmaking approach.
As a romantic at heart, I always believed in the transformative power of love. When I discovered that I could blend my professional expertise with my passion for helping others find meaningful relationships, I knew I had found my true calling.
I like to think of myself as an equivalent to “Mama Gee,” “Aunty Jee,” or your trusted Agony Aunt—with just a sprinkle of magic!
